Sales Agronomist
EQ Consultants is assisting one of Canterbury's leading independent grain and seed companies with the hire of their next Sales Agronomist. Specialising in the production and marketing of clover, cereals, grasses, pulses and brassicas for both domestic and international markets they have built lasting and successful relationships with a loyal base of farming families.
The role requires an experienced professional who has a track record of providing expert agronomy advice and solutions to an established client base and assisting them to achieve their farming goals.
Your responsibilities will be all about advising, collaborating and partnering, as follows:
- Advise and service the agronomy needs of a well-established book of arable and pastoral clients
- Collaborate with the Agronomy team to identify new opportunities and drive business growth
- Partner with key suppliers to deliver tailored advice and solutions to farmers
Ultimately, you will ensure that exceptional customer service is provided across all touchpoints.
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
- an in-depth knowledge of the agricultural industry with a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
- a proven history of building and maintaining relationships with clients within the ag sector
- first rate communication skills
- strong values and a work ethic that aligns with the industry
