Product Marketing Lead

Formthotics® is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Lead to take ownership of its global product portfolio and drive profitable growth through clear positioning, disciplined lifecycle management, education-led adoption and strong distributor engagement.
The Opportunity
This is a senior, hands-on product marketing role where you will act as the voice of the product, shaping how their solutions are defined, developed, positioned, and taken to market globally.
Working closely with Medical, Production, Engineering, Digital and Sales teams, you’ll lead product strategy from concept through to launch, training, packaging and global rollout, ensuring clinical integrity, regulatory compliance, and commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Portfolio Leadership
- Lead and evolve the global Formthotics® product portfolio and roadmap in partnership with Medical, Production, Engineering and Sales.
- Lead cross-functional product development initiatives, from ideation and brief through to launch.
- Manage go-to-market planning to ensure strong distributor engagement, adoption and ROI.
- Partner closely with Sales to drive product understanding, sell-in and market uptake.
- Gather and translate distributor, clinician, customer and market insights into product positioning, launch plans, portfolio decisions and future product opportunities.
- Develop globally consistent product toolkits and marketing assets.
- Ensure alignment of product messaging across marketing, sales and digital channels.
- Lead marketing input into regulatory compliance, including EU MDR (Class 1 Medical Devices).
- Ensure product claims, IFUs, labelling and packaging are clinically supported and compliant.
- Maintain awareness of evolving regulatory requirements across global markets.
- Own global packaging systems and Instructions for Use as core product components.
- Ensure multi-language packaging and IFUs are delivered across European and international markets.
- Balance regulatory, brand, sustainability and commercial requirements.
- Be the product expert supporting education-led clinician adoption, including product training, modular education content and distributor enablement.
- Contribute to the growth of the Formthotics® Academy and global distributor education.
- Measure effectiveness and commercial outcomes of education initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships across internal teams and external partners.
- Manage allocated budgets responsibly, tracking performance and ROI.
You’ll bring a blend of product marketing expertise, commercial thinking, and comfort working in regulated environments.
We’re looking for:
- 4+ years’ experience in product marketing, product management or similar roles.
- Experience working with regulated products (medical, health, technical, or similar).
- Exposure to EU MDR, compliance, packaging, labelling or IFUs (highly regarded).
- Strong cross-functional influence and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience supporting global or multi-market products.
- A structured, analytical thinker who can translate complexity into clear value propositions.
- A confident, proactive owner who can lead through influence and bring momentum to cross-functional work.
- The ability to travel outside of Christchurch, from time to time.
