Ready for your next challenge? Our client, ProBuild ITM, is looking for a confident, relationship‑driven Business Development Manager to help them grow their presence across Canterbury. If you enjoy getting out in the market, spotting opportunities, and building long‑term partnerships, you’ll fit right in.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll be the face of ProBuild ITM Rolleston for new and existing customers. You’ll spend your time developing strong relationships, uncovering project opportunities, and working closely with their internal teams to make sure everything runs smoothly from quote to delivery. It’s a mix of strategy, problem‑solving, and good old‑fashioned customer connection.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Growing revenue by bringing in new business and strengthening key accounts
  • Keeping a healthy sales pipeline and delivering on agreed targets
  • Meeting regularly with customers and running quarterly business reviews
  • Identifying upcoming projects and opportunities in the market
  • Preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations
  • Sharing insights on pricing, competitors, and industry trends
  • Collaborating with our branch, showroom, and estimating teams
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years in business development, sales, or account management
  • Experience in building supplies, construction, or trade merchant environments (ideal, but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly
  • Proven success winning new business and hitting sales targets
  • Solid CRM and sales reporting experience
  • Good understanding of pricing, margins, and quoting
  • A positive, self‑motivated attitude and the ability to stay organised and resilient
