Our client is in hiring mode - they need a seasoned service technician to join their high performing team and add value to their client's businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up, diagnosing, testing & adjusting, disassembly & assembly of general hydraulic system components & parts both in the workshop and on-site at various customer’s premises
  • Diagnosing and performing detailed inspections/failure analysis investigations on parts/components
  • Identification & compilation of detailed parts lists of required parts for various job types
  • Updating/completion of job cards 
  • Consolidation & uploading of job photos 
  • Completion & submission of timecards 
  • Maintaining a commitment to health & safety 
  • Active participation in 8h00 Right-2-Start meetings
  • Assisting & supporting of team members on various job types, as/when required
  • Consulting with workshop management to determine job priority 
  • Job progress updating – maintain regular progress feedback with workshop management 
What you need to bring to the role

Ideally you will come from a hydraulics, heavy equipment or diesel mechanic/fitter background. Perhaps you come from an agricultural earthmoving sector background? Maybe you are from the materials handling sector? Our client is open to where you come from sector wise, but you will need to be trade qualified in a relevant discipline. In essence, if you are the right person - they will make it work for you with good support and a positive learning environment.

You must be able to be available for some weekend work.

You must have a full and clean driver licence.
