Executive Assistant/Administrator - Part time
Are you an organized, proactive, and highly professional administrator looking to work at the heart of an executive team? Our client is a dedicated healthcare provider based in Christchurch and is looking for a Part time Executive Assistant/Administrator to support their General Manager and Board in delivering strategic outcomes and driving operational excellence. This position will be 10 to 12 hours per week.
About the Role
In this vital role, you'll be the right hand to the General Manager, providing high-level executive and administrative support across leadership and board functions. You'll help coordinate key priorities, streamline communication, and that ensure the executive team is empowered to focus on what matters most.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Support:
- Manage the GM’s calendar, communications, and competing priorities, scheduling and coordinate meetings and managing follow-ups and actions.
- Prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, and support leadership meeting cycles.
- Coordinate logistics and documentation for Board meetings and senior leadership events, liaising with board members and senior stakeholders to ensure clear and timely communication.
- Assemble high-quality reports and presentations with a strong eye for detail.
- Support the implementation of strategic initiatives and departmental reporting led by the GM, help to track budgets and ensure compliance with internal processes and policies.
- Free up time for senior leaders by handling day-to-day administrative functions.
- Be a key connector between the GM, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professionalism in every interaction.
- Be knowledgeable and committed to company policy regarding the Treaty of Waitangi.
- Relevant qualification in business administration or similar
- Proven experience in an executive assistant or senior administrative role.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- Tech-savvy, with strong Microsoft Office and reporting skills.
- Flexible part-time role – perfect for balancing work and life (8 to 12 hours per week).
