Key responsibilities will include:

- Understand customer needs through the use of insights and listening tools (like Truspilot) and leverage to inform marketing plans and business decisions.
- Setting the strategic marketing direction and vision for Inteflora in conjunction with the General Manager.
- Owning all tactical marketing plans.
· Brand management and marketing lead for key seasonal campaigns. 
- Deliver post analysis and learning on all major campaigns to guide future planning.
· Manage marketing calendar, promotions, & communications.
· Manage all components of digital marketing plan in conjunction with the digital insights team. 
- Manage Keyword and Site Engine Optimisation (SEO). 
- Manage Content Marketing plan with focus on Internal communications using monthly newsletter, eDMs and blog.
- Understanding the customer journey and improving on-page experiences to drive positive brand sentiment, relevant comms and high conversion rates.
- Analyse and report on customer spend & behaviour. 
- Manage all e-Commerce including product descriptions, product photography, site emails, cross-promotions, add ons and site upgrades and optimisation to continually improve and develop inline with industry standards and practices.
- Identify and leverage Public Relations, NZCoops, Radio relationship opportunities, and local media relationships.

Required Skills

- Tertiary- relevant degree.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing role (preferably retail, consumer or ecommerce).
- Skills – communication, commercial acumen, brand management, customer experience, analysis and strategy, digital and social, media and PR, event management, negotiating and influencing, executive presence.
- Superior attention to detail and excellence in execution.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce and consumer behaviour.
- Experience of on-site SEO optimisation
