About the opportunity: 

This presents a remarkable chance for someone who can showcase a proven history of success in a high-level production/manufacturing position. • Strategic: Participate as part of the wider leadership team in the planning, alignment, and execution of the FSI strategic plan.
• Leadership: Lead, mentor and coach team members fostering a positive workplace conducive to exceeding role requirements.
• Production: Oversee all production operations to achieve the company’s objective’s for safety, quality, output, productivity, efficiency and cost management.
• Manufacturing Capability: Lead automation efforts to enhance long-term efficiency and build a manufacturing culture to support a growth minded business based on robust data measurement and continuous improvement.
• Financial: Jointly establish with the CEO an annual production/ manufacturing budget and financial targets for the business.

About you:  

• Tertiary qualification in Biochemistry, Engineering or related field will be advantageous.
• Significant experience in a senior manufacturing / production role.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, budgeting ability, strong organizational skills, and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
• Highly advanced communication skills and an understanding of stakeholder interaction.
• Experience working and leading continuous improvement in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Proven ability to adapt and manage competing deadlines.
